UNSOLVED HOMICIDES

On Monday, June 10, 1991, the body of Patricia "Pattie" McRay was discovered in her home, at 7227 NW Dogwood Lane, after she failed to report for work. Ms. McRay was a 34 year old school teacher employed at Great Plains Vo-Tech as a computer instructor. An unknown intruder forced entry into Ms. McRay's home and a violent struggle ensued. Ms. McRay was stabbed with a knife several times. From information gathered during the investigation, it is believed that the homicide occurred sometime during the evening hours of Saturday, June 8 or the early morning hours of Sunday, June 9, 1991. On September 1, 1991, 27 year old Sandra Dunbar was fatally shot as she opened up the Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers restaurant at 1930 NW Cache Road where she worked. At approximately 6 a.m., she was shot multiple times with a small caliber handgun. Currently, there are no suspects and her assailant is unknown. Clarence Edwin Church was working as security guard at a massage parlor located at 2220 NW Ft. Sill Blvd. About 15 minutes after midnight on September 16, 1992, the 49 year old Church was sitting in his vehicle outside the business. He was approached by a black male suspect with a small to medium build and dreadlocks who reached through the open window of the vehicle and cut and stabbed Mr. Church several times. Hosea Pryor was working part-time as a cab driver on May 17, 1994 at about 11:00 p.m. when he took some unknown suspects to the area of 15th and Wisconsin. The 42 year old Ft. Sill soldier was assaulted by one on the suspects with a knife that inflected a mortal wound. Several suspects were seen in the area but could only be described as black males. On August 8, 1995, at approximately 5:00 a.m., Sherrie Harrison, a 25 year old unemployed Lawton resident, was stabbed multiple times and thrown from a vehicle in the 400 block of NW Bell Avenue. The vehicle was described as a small white car but no suspect descriptions are available.
