Lieutenant Donnie Hanson who began his career with the
Department on June 24, 1986, supervises the Training Division. Assisting
Lieutenant Hanson are Sergeant Mark Foreman, Sergeant Steve Martin, Sergeant
Chris Hall and part-time Officer Dorothy McCallick. Lieutenant Hanson can be reached at

The Lawton Police Department provides training to
all department officers on a regular basis. Training covers a vast variety of
subjects including legal issues, first aid, driving, etc. A firearms training
is conducted at least twice a year. As
of 2008, the Lawton Police Department has its’ own CLEET certified Basic
Training School.
